網球-英國希望之星亨曼漸黯淡,下月戴維斯杯後掛拍退役

英國 網球選手亨曼(軒文/韓曼)周四稱，在下月對克羅地亞(克羅埃西亞)戴維斯杯(臺維斯杯)世界組附加賽之後，他將高掛球拍退役。

亨曼在美國 公開賽新聞發布會上稱，持續的背傷令他深感退休的時候到了。他將參加下周的美網。

「我正式宣布，我將在對克羅地亞的戴維斯杯比賽後退役，」曾在2002年攀升至世界排名第四的亨曼說道。

「從職業角度來說，我對此已考慮了兩年。背傷讓我的職業生涯有些艱難，少了打球的樂趣。」

「另外，我的第三個孩子也將出生，讓我很想留在家中。」

亨曼將在9月6日滿33歲。他今年僅贏得三場ATP的比賽，世界排名也跌至第92位。
