小木偶交了一位新女友---灰姑娘。
一日，灰姑娘卻對他說：『小木偶，我再也不要跟你愛愛了，每次都被木屑戳到，好痛喔！』
於是傷心的小木偶就去找老木匠想辦法。
老木匠就對他說：『這個簡單，你只要用砂紙給它磨一磨就可以了。』
幾天後，木匠遇到了小木偶，就問：『上次教你的方法如何？你女朋友滿意了嗎？』
小木偶答：『噢！有了那個東西，誰還需要女朋友？』
